We currently have an opportunity for the right individual to join one of our dynamic service delivery teams based in Poole on a 6 month fixed term contract. This role could be the perfect opportunity for you to gain 6 months valuable experience working with a team dedicated to service excellence.
The Role:
The teams working within the Service Delivery Centres recruit and deliver high volume temporary and permanent staff to some of the largest clients in our UK portfolio., The bulk of the recruitment undertaken is within the banking and financial services sector. The Consultants and Resourcers who work in these teams are responsible for building effective relationships with stakeholders, managing large scale recruitment orders and ensuring that a world class recruitment service is delivered at all times. This is an interesting entry level role that will cover all aspects of the recruitment process including the following key responsibilities:
- liaising with consultants to take job bookings whilst also gaining a thorough understanding of the requirements of the jobs taken
- creating bookings on appropriate databases and recording data on relevant systems
- management of candidate attraction via reed.co.uk, bespoke external job boards and social media
- co-ordination of CVs from a variety of sources, careful screening of candidates prior to sending them to the relevant hiring manager
- creating complete and compliant audit packs for all candidates in line with financial services authority (FSA) guidelines and regulations
- management of queries and escalation of complaints when necessary
- supporting the team of consultants working to recruitment deadlines and key performance targets
- maintaining effective lines of communication throughout the recruitment process
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have worked in a demanding customer or client facing role. Experience of working in a process driven environment will be a distinct advantage. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent (Grade C or above)
- experience of working within a recruitment, administration or customer service environment would be advantageous
- proficiency in the use of a range of computer packages such as MS Excel and MS Word
- strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to develop effective working relationships
- numeracy, with effective verbal and written communication skills,
- excellent attention to detail
- the ability to prioritise and manage workloads
- good team working skills
