At Red Bull Media House we produce and publish high-quality content form the areas of sports and lifestyle through to nature, science & tradition and distribute those contents in our digital and print products. Through all media channels and on all types of devices we aim to fascinate and inspire audiences all over the world. We’re currently looking for a student design apprentice – an organised designer with a love for digital media – to join our product team in our digital media department for 2-3 days per week at our headquarters in Wals near Salzburg.

Areas that play to your strengths

·  Support the Digital Media Product Team

In this role, you will be supporting the Digital Media Product Team in their day to day tasks with the overall goal to further drive the unique Redbull.com user experience.

·  Identifying, investigating and validating UI problems

·  Assisting and participating in ideation

·  Collaborating with other team members to integrate user needs, technology and business requirements into design strategies

·  Crafting visual designs

·  Shipping solutions and assisting in visual quality assurance

Desired profile

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

· First experience in digital product design (freelance, internships)

· Interest in designing both UX and UI for digital products, including first experience of information architecture, wire framing, storyboards…

· Passion for creating outstanding and intuitive user experiences with an eye for detail

· Ideally experienced in industry standard design Software (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator…)

· Strong sense of finding creative and effective solutions to complex design problems and passion for esthetics and design

· Must provide a portfolio featuring samples of interaction design work

· Bachelor or Master in Human-computer interaction, human-centered design, interaction design, or related degree

· Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus
