Job description
As the Social Media Specialist you are responsible for community and digital channel management for Red Bull Australia. You will develop, curate and campaign Red Bull’s digital media channels, using brand and 3rd party content in line with Red Bull’s global Digital Media Strategy. This will involve working closely with the wider marketing and communications team to represent the full marketing mix to drive key brand metrics and grow engaged and loyal digital audiences/communities. The overall purpose of the job is to activate and manage Red Bull Australia’s digital channels. Channel and audience growth will largely be driven by the implementation of tailored digital campaigns across paid, earned, shared and owned media channels and any other locally applicable outlets.

· Schedules, executes and analyses digital channel content campaigns
Coordinates the campaign with the Digital Marketing Specialist
Briefs digital agencies to implement the paid, earned, shared and owned campaign
Monitors effectiveness and results
• Works closely with the Digital Media Manager and Digital Marketing Specialist to implement the overall digital strategy.
• Liaising with the full marketing and communications team to seek out locally relevant digital content to engage our digital fan base
• Creates content for social media platforms and increase 1:2:1 communication with followers & digital opinion leaders for both brand interaction and content distribution.
• Constantly identifies, analyzes and aligns the latest digital marketing trends and emerging technologies, seeks out new opportunities and applies them to the Red Bull strategy in alignment with the local RBMH team.
• Benchmarks best practice examples in and outside the world of Red Bull relevant for Red Bull digital channel activities.
• Reports weekly on web/mobile and social analytics, providing insights to stakeholders on projects, planning and results.

Desired profile
Your experience includes:
(proven performance in)
· Degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Engineering and/or a related discipline
· 3 years experience in the digital marketing field, with experience in web, social and campaign management, preferably within an FMCG or brand centric organisation
· Highly efficient and effective editorial and campaign management and organisational skills. Comfortable working in a self driven manner with a focus on delivering results.
· Experience working in web content management systems, web and social analytics and campaign reporting.
· Advanced social media skills, working with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
· Experience interacting with and managing digital communities, using the right brand tone of voice.
· Excellent digital marketing know how and ability to plan and implement digital campaigns across paid, earned, shared and owned media. Knowledge of SEO/M, eDM campaigns and content seeding.
· Experience and an excellent eye for detail in web and digital media. An understanding of production across all digital mediums is desired.
· A solid understanding of the local/International digital landscape in regards to websites/competitors, and emerging media channels and outlets.
· Ability to work and build relationships with a range of partners, stakeholders and external contractors.
· Ability to influence and advise the wider team with regards to channel and content requirements.
· Degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Engineering and/or a related discipline
· Proficient in English
