Order Management Specialist

Job description

The Order Management Specialist will support the Inventory Control Manager with Point-of-Sale ordering and reporting for North America. This involves significant interaction with the North America budget managers, Operations and Finance personnel, and Third Party Distribution Partner. A key element of this role will be to build cross departmental relationships to aid in improving the monthly order processes and the approach to planning, order processing, analysis, and reporting functionalities. This role provides further support to the Inventory Control Manager through administration of multiple ordering and analysis applications that help ensure operative and financial transparency to budget managers and executive management.

·  Point-of-Sale Ordering & Analysis

Manage monthly and ad-hoc Point-of-Sale ordering processes.

Evaluate and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the current procedures.

Compile monthly reporting and analysis of Point-of-Sale KPI’s to assist internal sales and marketing customers.

Partner with Operations, Trade Marketing, Sales, Trade Finance and Business Unit budget managers on point-of-sale ordering processes, analysis and initiatives.

Diagnose & provide insight/solutions for poor performing KPI’s and processes.

·  Business Support/Communication

Main contact for all Point-of-Sale issues related to Operations.

Be able to understand complex business processes and communicate them in a simple, effective manner.

Provide cross functional support between Supply Chain (Operations), Sales, Trade Marketing and Trade Finance on point-of-sale initiatives/projects.

Establish strong working relationships with Business Unit budget managers & Business Unit personnel.

·  Project Support

Manage the documentation and dissemination of global and local Point-of-Sale process requirements to Red Bull North America, Inc.

Assist in resource allocation strategy in order to influence how budget dollars are spent & maximize resources.

Assist with major initiative execution, recaps, and learnings.

Ad-Hoc project support/analysis of other Operations department point-of-sale initiatives.

Desired profile

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

· 2 years work experience in Operations, preferred Customer Service, Order Management, or similar.

· Strong organizational skills, perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Ability to identify problems, evaluate options, develop and implement solutions.

· Strong communication/presentation skills; ability to interact with and persuasively present operational issues to all levels of management.

· Self-starter, able to work independently or with groups, to meet objectives and deliverables within specific timelines.

· Project management experience.

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

· Strong familiarity with SAP is a plus.

· Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with Operations or Logistics major preferred.

· Fluency (verbal & written) in English
