·  INCOME TAX

Prepare tax provisions for several legal entities

Calculate and gather data for inclusion into tax returns

·  SALES & USE TAX

Compile data for sales & use tax returns for multiple legal entities

Resolve issues, review and approve returns

Process tax payments prepared by outside service provider

Reconcile and analyze sales & use tax liability accounts monthly

Upload current tax rates into SAP at the end of each month

Collect, provide oversight & guidance on resale certificates and related issues

Review and respond to notices 

·  PROPERTY TAX

Compile data annually for personal property tax returns for multiple legal entities

Work closely with provider to resolve issues

Approve renditions and process payments

Review and respond to notices

Provide forecasts as needed for planning and cash flow

·  OTHER TAX COMPLIANCE

Prepare CA CRV tax return monthly

Prepare business tax returns based on gross receipts

Prepare other non-standard tax returns

Track deadlines and status of multiple projects

Document and streamline all indirect tax processes and procedures

Support and assist company personnel by responding to indirect tax questions

Assist with data collection and responses to various audits

Desired profile

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

· Strong working knowledge of Excel, proficiency in Word and PowerPoint

· SAP knowledge preferred, but not required

· Self-starter and fast learner that is passionate about tax

· Proven analytical and problem solving skills

· Ability to work in a casual, yet fast paced corporate environment

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Demonstrated ability and willingness to be flexible and adaptable to change

· Demonstrated ability working on a team under pressure to meet deadlines
