Job description

The purpose of the IT Infrastructure Specialist, RBDC will be to support and maintain the IT infrastructure across Red Bull Distribution Company (RBDC) and to manage all warehouse builds from an IT perspective. The IT Infrastructure Specialist will have budget responsibilities when executing projects ensuring that solutions are delivered within the specified budget. This position will be responsible for executing operational tasks, production support and troubleshooting as well as creating and updating new and existing documentation. This will be a dynamic position that will require a candidate that can quickly prioritize tasks, adapt new technologies and identify areas for improvement.

·  RESPONSIBILITIES

•Provide support for operational issues to ensure timely resolution.

•Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

•Perform hardware/software upgrades and replacements to existing components as needed.

•Review on a continual basis the departments procedures and equipment for maximum efficiency while controlling costs.

•Periodically audit external vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and make change recommendations where needed.

•Provide planning and support where necessary for new office and warehouse locations or relocations.

•Evaluate business needs and research available solutions to best meet those needs considering defined guidelines, standards and industry best practices.

•Develop plans for the implementation of new projects together with other IT teams.

•Will be a key participant in management and documentation of IT projects within the scope of duties.

•Perform other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of this position.

•Present a professional image as a representative of the company.

Sua experiência inclui:

•1-3 years of hands on experience in supporting IT infrastructure (network equipment, sever systems, desktop computers, etc.).

· 
•1-3 years of experience with operations and troubleshooting of network infrastructure as well as implementing and configuring network infrastructure components.

· 
•6 months - 1 year of experience configuring Cisco routers, firewalls and switches.

· 
•Working knowledge of Network/Internet Protocols/Services such as TCP/IP, VoIP, Ethernet, DNS.

· 
•Working knowledge of low voltage/structured cabling technologies.

· 
•Excellent documentation and project management skills.

· 
•Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

· 
•Must be approachable, teachable, a team player able work with a geographically dispersed team in every phase of a project lifecycle.

· 
•Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

· 
•Willingness to work beyond core business hours if necessary to minimize business interruption during planned or unplanned maintenance or incidents.

· 

College Degree or equivalent work experience.
