The IP Attorney will deal with a variety of issues relating to brand enforcement including trademark oppositions and cancellations, litigation, C&D letters, investigations, reviewing Watch Notices, drafting IP licenses, releases and other agreements, as well as training Customs on counterfeits and gray market goods.

Assisting with trademark assignment, co-existence and settlement agreements
Training Customs on counterfeits and gray market goods
Providing advice and legal support to IP Team and other Red Bull departments in the Americas
Communicating with the IP Team, outside counsel, investigators and other Red Bull employees
Your experience includes:
(proven performance in)
·
3-5 years of IP law experience with a strong background in US trademark law and enforcement
·
IP law firm experience or in-house experience with large trademark portfolio and brand enforcement disputes
·
Excellent investigation and research skills/experience
·
Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
·
Knowledge of copyright and other IP areas a plus
·
The successful candidate must be able to work independently and efficiently under time pressure and deadlines, have strong legal writing skills, be highly organized, detail oriented, have strong project management skills and be professional, proactive and enthusiastic
·
Experience in drafting trademark-related agreements such as co-existence, settlement agreements and licenses
·
Trademark litigation experience is a plus
·
IP experience in South/Central America is a plus
·
Experience in supervising paralegals is a plus
·
Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese a plus
·
Juris Doctor and bar admission
·
Fluent in English – written and verbal; Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus
