Stassens Exports Pvt. Ltd is the distribution partner for Red Bull in Sri Lanka. Country Manager Sri Lanka defines goals and strategic direction of Red Bull in the country in long and short-term perspectives. Develop and ensures top quality implementation of the approved Business Plan. He manages and develops team with full scale responsibility for team performance, business efficiency & engagement.

·  Managing Sales and Marketing

Country Manager Sri Lanka is directly responsible for financial and trade results delivery in the country

He is responsible for trade spending strategies, P&L planning and control in the country

He works closely with Commercial and Marketing teams to deliver on:

Sales and marketing strategic business planning

Sales planning and controlling

Route to market review and optimisation

Sales and marketing results analysis and monthly and weekly reporting

Influences Trade and Marketing through value added and cooperation vs. reporting authority as per the Red Bull way

·  Direct control over

Distribution Partner Management

Key Accounts Management

Pricing Management & control over distributors sales prices

Distribution and product placement

Marketing activities

Business plan annual/quarterly/monthly action plans

Reporting and presentations

·  Directly responsible for financial feasibility of trade & marketing activities in the country working closely with Regional Finance

·  Product & Brand Knowledge

Should have professional knowledge of company products: composition, characteristics and special features

Should know the terms of product’s storage and transportation. Have complete understanding and shares in Red Bull values, knows brand history

·  People and Knowledge Management

Full scale responsibility for team performance and development

Builds, monitors and develop management team in SL

Sets business objectives to direct reports and evaluates the results on regular basis

Establish strength based development approach within the organization

Establishes highest ethical standards, winning and “we can do” spirit in the whole organization

Responsible for development and engagement of employees

Participates in hiring process of all employees in SL

Desired profile

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

· Previous 3 – 4 year experience in top management role (e.g.: Functional Manager, Commercial Manager, Marketing Manager)

· Strong Leadership & Team Management Skills

· Strong knowledge of P&L management principles, route to market strategy, distribution management, marketing strategy

· Clear understanding of sales & distribution, competitor activity and consumer behaviour in a brand and FMCG context

· Proper knowledge & practical understanding of marketing approach in FMCG in general and Red Bull in particular

· Excellent communication skills & ability to clearly present & justify decisions and plans

· Fluent in written and spoken English. EDV (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).

· Higher education (e.g.: General Business, Marketing, Economics)

· Fluent English

·
