Job description

This position is responsible for all aspects of Red Bull’s brand perception across internal and external digital and interactive media platforms, including operating, leading and activating all local Red Bull digital channels. In addition, create digital media tailored content for Red Bull channels on third party platforms. The key priority is driving consumer engagement by activating ideas / concepts / products from Red Bull Energy Drink and Red Bull Media House.

·  Develop local digital program for Red Bull NZ

Local programme links with the global Red Bull Digital Media Strategy and business plan priorities

Set clear targets to evaluate the success of digital marketing activities

Manage digital communications budget and secure smart and efficient funds allocation to optimize expenditure

·  Execute and analyse all digital marketing and communication activities in New Zealand

Manages the redbull.co.nz as number one priority (operational & strategy), including lead of community relations with host countries and a strong focus on live experience.

Increases visits and visitors, increases time on site, increases repeat visit rate, increases search engine referrals, increases conversion rate from social networks and reduce bounce rate

Ensures all relevant digital communication channels are managed and activated in line with international strategy (web, online, mobile, games, social media activities, etc)

Oversees and collaborates with Red Bull Media House Digital Media Team on all gaming initiatives (console, mobile, online)

Manages relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and parties to deliver digital solutions to further promote the local marketing activities

Makes editorially sure that the message to consumers (text, photo, moving images) is web tailored, user-oriented, engaging, up-to-date and accurate and uses the correct tone of voice

Collaborates with the Digital Media Editorial Team at the Red Bull Media House to maximise efficiencies for content production across digital platforms (e.g. creation, production, distribution and evaluation)

Ensures technical standards and requirements are being met

Report back to stakeholders on projects, planning and results

·  Identify, analyse and align latest digital media trends and emerging technologies.

Seek out new opportunities and apply them to the Red Bull (marketing/communication) strategy.

Aligns with both the Red Bull Media House Digital Media Team as well as the local Marketing/Communications Team.

Ensure that relevant trends are integrated into Red Bull NZ strategy, followed by execution.

Ensure relevance for Red Bull owned media channels e.g. Red Bull TV

Develop and implement great digital ideas and activations that engage consumers with the product / brand on different digital platforms

Desired profile

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

· 3 - 4 years work experience in Consumer Marketing and/or Digital Media/Interactive Marketing project management, preferably in a multinational environment

· Experience and an excellent eye for detail in web and digital media. An understanding of productions across all digital mediums is required, the ability to generate onsite event and live digital content is preferred

· Excellent understanding of paid/earned/owned media landscape and knowledge of marketing and advertising trends and opportunities in Digital

· Excellent know how of brand marketing, digital campaigns across owned, paid and earned media

· An excellent understanding of how to communicate with different audiences and strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence and build rapport at all levels, and to explain complex issues in plain English

· Excellent knowledge and operational experience of CMS

· Excellent organisational and project planning/management skills coupled with the ability to work in a self-directed manner

· Experience in budgeting and basic financial reporting

· Ability to work and build relationships with a range of partners, stakeholders and external contractors

· Bachelors degree in Marketing / Communications or other relevant discipline is essential
