Job description

The Brand Manager is a member of the Red Bull national Brand Marketing team based in Santa Monica, CA. The position is responsible for the Red Bull beverage product portfolio in the U.S., with a focus on developing the Red Bull Editions product line. The position serves as a key point person for the rest of the organization to guide market executions that increase Red Bull’s consumer base and intensify consumption. Reporting to the Sr. Brand Manager, they will be charged with executing new product launches as well as employing various marketing levers to support business objectives across the Red Bull portfolio. Responsibilities include developing a thorough and systematic understanding of consumers, translating behaviors and needs into key insights to shape business development plans and leading cross-functional teams for market execution, including above the line and through the line activations.

·  Portfolio management 

Manage execution and tracking of portfolio projects, in collaboration with key cross-functional members across the organization

Maintain deep understanding of business performance and evaluate growth-driving opportunities via consumer lens

Analyze business results and deliver key recommendations for national business planning and on-going delivery of business KPIs

Monitor competitive landscape

·  New Product launch and Consumption Activation programs

Execute new product launches and consumption activation programs 

Develop national marketing launch plans to build awareness and trial throughout the consumer path to purchase (out of store to in-store)

Lead Marketing cross-functional team of internal stakeholders and external partners in flawless launch execution, and deliver on defined KPIs

Serve as primary point-person between key marketing departments as it relates to creative touchpoint development

Interface with RBNA field teams to construct marketing plans consistent with national strategy that uniquely highlight local relevance 

Contribute to renovation ideas that meet category and consumer opportunities, including account and channel specific initiatives 

Represent Beverage Product Marketing in Account calls and Sales, Distribution meetings

·  Consumer Insights 

Leverage internal and external resources to develop deep consumer and shopper insights to drive marketing and portfolio decisions 

Collaborate with Business and Consumer Insights to commission additional research as needed

·  Business Planning and Budgeting

Input into Business Planning process – act as a major contributor to yearly and long-term business planning 

Assume responsibility for budget management

Desired profile

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

· 3+ years of CPG marketing experience, MBA optional

· Strong quantitative aptitude and analytical experience (2+ years of reading, interpreting and story-telling data)

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams

· Strong planning, prioritization, budgetary and project management competencies (multi-tasking, attention to detail)

· Experience in managing and interpreting consumer insights research

· Ability to work in, and cultivate, a team environment 

· Live and represent the Red Bull Brand

· Bachelor's degree required; MBA optional

· English, other languages a plus
