Job description

The Activation & Communications Specialist (Sports) will be responsible for supporting select marketing/communications campaigns for Live/Original Broadcasts and Highlight Programs from within Red Bull’s sports division that air on Red Bull TV and as part of the Red Bull Signature Series. The ideal candidate will be experienced in running paid media campaigns, generating earned media outcome, as well as leveraging content, moments, influencers, and digital properties to drive tune-in and grow audience/engagement. The role requires a passion for creating innovative marketing campaigns and a working knowledge of Red Bull TV, Red Bull Signature Series, as well as Red Bull athletes, events and owned media properties. The candidate must be able to lead 360-degree integrated plans; create and manage editorial campaigns across Earned, Shared and Owned channels; and amplify Paid initiatives for greater consumer engagement, with the objective of driving impact, engagement and conversation.

·  Campaign Execution

Identify and drive key objectives, strategies and goals for each program and major campaign (i.e. ratings/viewership, engagement, impressions) and define the appropriate windowing and channels for each campaign.

Own and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar for Red Bull TV sports programs and the Red Bull Signature Series.

Collaborate with key stakeholders -- including event marketing, social, production, digital programming, development, monetization and brand departments -- to achieve program and campaign goals.

Analyze data and insights to provide benchmark recommendations for campaign goals, formulate audience targeting recommendations, and provide thoughtful recommendations for new innovative tactics.

Produce creative deliverables including images, videos and ads as well as write authentic and engaging copy for each phase of the campaign.

Build momentum and maximum output through each campaign by managing asset needs, required approvals and distribution across all channels.

Gather results and data using analytic tools and package the insights into a recap report for key internal and external stakeholders.

Represent Red Bull’s voice with the consumer. Oversee accurate and consistent representation of the Red Bull brand in all Marketing & Communications activations.

Develop and share best practices nationally and globally.

Work effectively under pressure and utilize strong project management skills to meet deadlines.

Create scalable activation templates, which the field and country marketing teams can utilize for the planning, execution, optimization and reporting of local or endemic initiatives.

Act as a key liaison between Activation team and external Agency partners.

Review estimates for campaign services and effectively manage budgets.

Drive the national implementation of global, national and local Sports integrated marketing programs supporting Red Bull TV sports and Red Bull Signature Series initiatives.

Understand and utilize a fully integrated marketing mix (Paid, Earned, Shared, Owned).

Strategically position Red Bull communications for Red Bull TV sports marketing and Red Bull Signature Series activities, athletes and projects across a full media spectrum including web, television, print, social media and radio.

Maintain press distribution lists, secure editorial coverage in national and regional outlets, and monitor coverage for media tracking purposes.

Identify and craft compelling storylines for each program/event and work with agency partners for supported campaigns.

Create campaigns that drive aligned objectives and are social by design, with consumer engagement at the center.

Be constantly aware of emerging trends, products and technologies, including competitive analysis.

Identify opportunities for applying new technologies, digital products and services to campaigns

Champion the integration of new digital products and interactive content experiences into events and programs in order to provide consumers with a seamless event experience across all relevant digital and offline channels.

Develop marketing campaigns, which delight our consumers and enhance Red Bull’s reputation for creativity and inspiration.

Live and represent the Red Bull brand.

Your experience includes:

· Marketing experience: minimum 3 years experience developing and executing 360-degree Mar/Com campaigns with high profile brands or agency accounts for sports/television/media marketing or related fields.

· Command of digital platforms and how they are best leveraged to build audience, viewership & engagement

· Experience in utilizing analytics platforms, media monitoring and social listening tools to quantify results and build strategic plans

· Established relationships with relevant media and industry influencers

· Ability to work autonomously while fostering alignment with HQ, BU and International departments within a highly matrixed team structure.

· Track record of delivering results against tight deadlines.

· Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal and presentations.

· Strong planning, prioritization and project management competencies.

· Creative thinker and innovator; in touch with digital, media and sports trends.

· Able to travel as needed; work flexible hours/days of week and weekends.
