Job description

The Accounting Analyst will work on an individual and team basis within the Finance Department. They will be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of financial information. This person will deliver consistent and accurate information on a timely basis. To be successful in this position, the individual must be able to time manage, display a high level of organizational skills and display honesty and integrity when producing, delivering and distributing information. In addition, a high level of confidentiality must be maintained at all times.

·  ACCOUNTS PAYABLE:

·       Posting invoices in SAP (along with the review of the general ledger accounts and approval limits)

·       Review and post employee expense reports in Concur in accordance with our travel & entertainment policy

·       Complete weekly payment runs for third party vendors

 

·  GENERAL ACCOUNTING:

·       Perform Monthly Account Reconciliations

·       Prepare and Post Monthly Journal Vouchers in SAP (permanent, accruals,)

·       Maintain records and files including master data

·       Assisting with the Month End Close procedures

 

·  OTHER:

·       Handle inquires from field staff, vendors, and third party partners by investigating and interpreting data if needed

·       Knowledge of various commodity tax laws within Canada

·       Protects organzation’s value by keeping information confidential (Red Bull is a private company)

·       Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes in consultation

·       Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.

·       Ad Hoc tasks when needed

 

Your experience includes:

·       2 + years in an accounting environment

· 
·       Experience within accounts payable or data entry

· 
·       Attention to detail

· 
·       Ability to meet strict and demanding deadlines

·       Strong prioritization and organizational skills

· 
·       Strong analytical skills and being able to Multi- task

· 
·       Strong verbal and written communication skills

· 
·       Possess a professional demeanor

· 
·       Proficiency in MS excel, MS Word, PowerPoint

· 
·       Working knowledge of SAP R3 or other ERP system

· 

• Post-Secondary Education in Business (Accounting/Finance) • Working towards completion of the CPA designation
