Ganger Man / Assistant Logistics / Site Manager

Job description

We have an immediate requirement for a Ganger Man to work on a major central London project.

Duties will include (but not restricted to) the man management of Multi-trade / multi-tasked semi skilled operatives and general labourer operatives. You will also be responsible for their allocation of work areas and tasks together with the implementation and management of a permit regime across the site, ensuring the site is run smoothly and safely whilst maintaining excellent housekeeping, signage, welfare facilities and safe environment across the project.

Suitable candidates will will hold a CSCS Supervisors card and preferably a current SMSTST certificate to. Other qualifications which may be useful but not essential are a First Aid Certificate, LOLER and / or Traffic or Fire Marshall Certificates.

The position would suit someone who aspires to become a site or construction logistics manager or a junior site manager.
