Head of HR & Payroll
A new opportunity has arisen for an HR & Payroll Assistant at our offices based at UB2 4SB.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:-

Ongoing Recruitment of staff

Placing adverts online and appropriate media

Shortlisting candidates / Telephone interviewing

Interviewing candidates face to face
-
All areas relating to checking and processing of new starters
-
Managing HR Database - DOMFD, checking and authorising of personnel details including Home Office checks and document verification

Arranging inductions
-
Organising and Documenting Training plans for staff.

Staff Appraisals and monitoring of performance
-
Incentive Management
-
Promoting People Planning and Structure in the businesses

Utilising DOMFD Reports to monitor Absences & Lateness
-
Working alongside Head Office HR function and dealing with all disciplinary matters.

Processing of monthly payroll
The person needs to have the following pre-requisites:
Applicant should have working experience of HR in addition to HR qualification.
- Must live locally and will need a car. Will be based at the office but will need to travel between the stores as the business requires - Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel - Must have an eye for detail and be comfortable working with figures. - Previous experience in HR and Payroll is Key. - Be highly organised and able to meet deadlines - Should be able to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision.
