QC Analyst - HPLC

Job description

Due to production demands hitting an all-time high, our client a well respect pharmaceutical company are looking for an experienced QC Analyst with good experience of HPLC and other analytical techniques to join their team on a 12 month contract. If you're a recent science graduate this may suit you too.

The Role

Follow appropriate test methods to ensure raw materials, bulk liquids and final products are sampled and tested conforming to relevant specifications.
Use QC laboratory equipment (eg HPLC/GC/IR/Auto-titrations/wet chemistry) to ensure chemicals and bulk liquids conform to specification
Develop robust and repeatable new tests methods and modify existing test methods for both chemical raw materials and bulk liquids. Ensure that these test methods are validated.
Maintain lab note books to GLP standard as required
Producing lab scale samples of new lotions and serial preservative dilutions in order to provide bulk liquid batch analysis calculations

What we want?
Due to the nature of this role we are looking for someone has QC (quality control) experience from a pharmaceutical company. Experience of various analytical techniques primarily including HPLC, wet chemistry and complex product testing. The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a science based subject.
