The Requirements

We're looking for a client focused Wealth Manager Assistant to join us at Coutts. Through the provision of outstanding support to the Wealth Manager, and acting as second point of contact, you'll play a significant role in helping us build stronger and more valuable customer relationships while harnessing a deep understanding of our clients' needs and financial goals.

What you'll do

You'll support the Wealth Manager in every aspect of their role, and use your ever expanding knowledge of the business to ensure we provide our clients with outstanding service.

Our Wealth teams are looking to ultimately produce strong client relationships, displaying transparency, ease and choice whilst generating an exemplary client experience.

You'll act as the second point of contact for clients, handle queries on a wide range of subjects, and contribute to the success of the Wealth Managers' personal reviews with our clients through quality information gathering. Your day to day activity will range from preparing profiles, meeting notes, valuations, quotations and supporting marketing & application materials, to diary management and meeting preparation, ensuring compliance to the bank's regulatory requirements.

As well as this, you'll continually liaise with private banking colleagues, and provide training and coaching regarding Coutts policies and procedures.

You'll also:

• Arrange Investment / Pension reviews ensuring that the various Client Experience guidelines are adhered to

• Provide marketing support to the Wealth manager

• Maintain files and databases, ensuring all reports and documentation are recorded accurately

• Assist in the recording and resolution of any advice and service related complaints

• Maintain high levels of understanding of the bank's procedures and regulations

What you'll bring

To join us you'll need to have both excellent team-working skills and be able to work on your own initiative. A previous background in banking and a strong working knowledge of investment and financial planning products is essential, and will help you to provide client-focused product information. Exceptional organisation skills are also a paramount component of this role, but above everything you'll need to be incredibly client-focused, putting their interests at the heart of everything you do.

As well as this, you'll be dedicated to your own professional development, and be committed to attaining a relevant QCA Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
