The Requirements

Join us as a Telephony Customer Service Representative in Manchester

·  You'll become the first point of support for our customers in one of our telephony teams
• This is your chance to help us make our banking simpler, more responsive and personal
• You'll match your amazing customer service with your motivation to develop and succeed with us
• We'll start you on a competitive and flexible reward package of £18,025(pro rata for hours worked) – after a great first year of serving our customers, we'll put this up to £19,275
·  We'll support your personal development with training to achieve the Professional Banker Certificate – an externally recognised qualification – within your first two years

What you'll do

Whether it's carrying out day-to-day banking transactions, like paying bills or transferring funds abroad, or offering our customers products and services that are right for them, you'll be on the other end of the phone to help.

·  We won't judge you on the number of calls you handle but on the positive impact you make to every customer
·  You'll build real connections to understand our customer needs and find the right solutions for them

The skills you'll need

You'll need to be passionate about excelling in customer service and building relationships, and combine this with:

·  Great listening skills
·  Lots of empathy
·  The determination to go the extra mile for our affluent customers every day to provide that individual service

Resolving the complex problems won't faze you as you'll have built a fantastic knowledge of our products and services to help answer any number customer queries.

What else you need to know

We're here for our customers, whatever the time of day or night, so you'll need to be flexible in working a rotating shift pattern.

We're looking for people to work between 20 and 35 hours per week, likely between 5pm and midnight. These will include weekends and Bank Holidays, however we'll discuss your hours in more detail with you during your interview stage.
