Mortgage Service Representatives - Greenock
Graduate job Greenock (Inverclyde) Accounting / Management control
Job description
The Requirements
If you share our passion for outstanding customer service, this is a fantastic opportunity to join one of our friendly, lively and vibrant customer contact centres.
At RBS our goal is to be number one for customer service, trust and advocacy and put the customer at the heart of all we do. By getting this right, we'll be on track to build the future of RBS.
What you'll do
We're looking for Mortgage Service Representatives to join our customer contact centre. This is an important role, where you'll make a real difference to our customers' lives, supporting our new customers through the single biggest purchase of their lives - their home, and at the same time ensuring our existing customers are given consistently excellent service. You'll speak to customers over the phone, accurately identifying their needs so they are offered suitable products and dealing with any queries effectively - it's all about putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. You'll also talk to other parties such as solicitors and valuers to support the smooth progression of our customers' mortgage applications. For our customers, you'll be the face of the bank, you'll provide fast, friendly support in what can be a complex and sometimes daunting process, and by suggesting helpful options you'll make their lives easier.
Building strong, trusted relationships and providing a professional and thorough service is all part of building and retaining our customer business and you'll also be proactive in identifying leads and referrals to ensure we're helping our customers wherever possible.
All of this starts with having the right people on our team. People who share our belief that the customer comes first, are driven to go above and beyond what's expected and who let their enthusiasm shine through every day. By working as a team, we'll make RBS an organisation of which everyone can be proud.
What you'll bring
As a Mortgage Service Representative, you'll need a friendly, helpful and committed approach to every customer. You'll have a background in a customer-focused role, and a natural ability to build relationships and exceed expectations throughout the mortgage process. A good listener, you'll be skilled in identifying exactly what a customer needs, and using your knowledge of our products and processes to offer them the right support. And whatever you want to do in your career, we're here to help you move to the next level.
How we'll reward you
What we can offer you is the chance to develop your skills and give you plenty of opportunities to progress your career in many different directions.
Upon joining the team you will receive an attractive reward package of between £19,403 and £26,610 pa. (pro rata for hours worked).
Generous holiday allocation of 33 days per year, made up of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata for hours worked)
RBS offers an excellent package and a wide choice of exclusive lifestyle offers, development and learning programmes, services and support - all designed to help you manage and balance work life priorities.
