The Requirements
We're creating a new standalone bank in the UK which will be made up of the RBS branches in England & Wales and NatWest branches in Scotland. It will be a strong, full service Personal, Private, SME and Corporate bank, and well positioned for the future. This new bank, which is due to launch by the end of 2016 will be known as 'Williams & Glyn' and is also referred to publicly as 'Rainbow'.
This role will become part of the new standalone bank when it launches

The Role
The Mortgage Pricing Analyst will support the product pricing proposition across all channels ensuring that the mortgage product offering facilitates the deepening of customer relationships as well as our broader strategic business aims.
You will be confidently working on pricing strategies which will support the design, development and delivery of pricing proposals. You'll also be continually assessing the ongoing performance of our Mortgages product range and you'll be able to add value by offering informed and sustainable recommendations .
Other responsibilities will include
· Developing effective and collaborative working relationships with key business / functional stakeholders and colleagues.
· To act as a point of reference / SME for the specific pricing of products supported, based on a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends and developments in these areas
· To support the end to end customer journey by engaging with the data and insights gathered about our customers
· To work closely with Marketing colleagues on the strategies and plans for the pricing of products you support
What are we looking for?
· Proven experience of working in a product based role and experience in Mortgages
· Pricing experience is essential
· Well developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise presentations and papers.
· Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand the requirements of our customers and our key stakeholders
· Highly numerate with strong analytical capabilities and experience of monitoring and tracking budgets / targets / financial performance and working with data
· Being CeMap qualified is highly desirable, if not then a genuine interest in pursuing
· Proficient in all standard IT business applications (Microsoft Office etc.)
· Experience of complex projects / pieces of work and working effectively across business units and functions
· An understanding of the current offering for the products to be supported within RBS would be an advantage, although not essential
