The Requirements
We're creating a new standalone bank in the UK which will be made up of the RBS branches in England & Wales and NatWest branches in Scotland. It will be a strong, full service Personal, Private, SME and Corporate bank, and well positioned for the future. This new bank, which is due to launch by the end of 2016 will be known as 'Williams & Glyn' and is also referred to publicly as 'Rainbow'.
This role will become part of the new standalone bank when it launches

We are looking for Customer Service Officers to work in our branches, people who are passionate about delivering outstanding service every day to all our customers and are looking to develop their skills and build a long term career.

What you'll do
As a Customer Service Officer in one of our branches you'll:-
· Be the first point of contact for our customers coming into the branch
· Have great conversations, build strong relationships and help our customers with their banking needs.
· Deliver outstanding service to every customer and help our customers understand the different ways they can bank with us.
And while you're helping our customers, we'll help you develop your career.
What you'll bring
A people-person, with the proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service. You'll have great listening skills and the ability to communicate with our customers to help them make the best financial decisions. You'll be comfortable using technology and, with training, will also be able to explain to customers the benefits of the different ways to bank with us.
You'll be comfortable working in an environment where you are required to follow regulatory and operational processes which are in place to protect customers and keep their money safe.
You'll have a desire to continuously develop in the role and will always be looking for opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge
How we'll reward you
You'll receive a competitive reward package of between £16,461 and £22,575 pa. (pro rata for hours worked)
This comprises a base salary of between £13,169 and £18,060 pa and an additional 25% of your salary as an allowance . You can decide how much you want to convert into value-added benefits through RBSelect, the bank's flexible programme. On top of this reward package you will participate in a bonus scheme linked to helping our customers and the success of the business.
You'll also receive a generous holiday allocation of 33 days per year, made up of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata for hours worked) .

· Retail Hours Monday - Sunday 08:00 - 20:00
