What we do

Our purpose is deliver drug and alcohol treatment and recovery services in prisons and the community which helps people move away from addition and crime. Our services provide a number of support, including advice, counselling, group work and intensive treatment. Our high-quality service help people to take steps towards their own recovery.

What you will do

On our summer internships you’ll experience work and life and gain a valuable insight into our business and culture. You’ll gain knowledge into our charity services through the major departments you will be working for. See how different organisations work. Tackle some kind of business projects, decision making and build a range of core skills whichever area you join.

We have Internships opportunities in the following departments:
•HR
•Fundraising and Communication
•Talent Management
•Research and Development
•Recovery Support
•IT
•Governance

As an intern your specific duties will include
•Each Intern will work on a designated project and be given the opportunity to develop practical skills and experience.
•There will be a full Learning and Development programme running alongside the project and you will be given support from both your line manager and a designated mentor.

The project will run from 26/06/2017 to 25/08/2017, and you will need to be available for all of these dates to take part.

To take up this fantastic development opportunity you will have excellent communication skills, and proven experience of managing your own time and workload in a busy, high pressure environment. You will hold, or be working towards a degree in a relevant subject and will be able to demonstrate a passion for the work of RAPt, strong IT skills and a commitment to you own career development.
