Randstad Care are currently recruiting for a Continuing Healthcare Nurse Assessor to work within a Retrospectives CHC team in Newcastle upon Tyne
The post is part time for 2 days per week (15 hours) and will run on until 2016 at least. The team are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, but are willing to wait for the right candidate.
The daily duties for this post include:
- Reviewing retrospective case files to assess eligibility for CHC funding
- Gathering evidence to support a clinical decision
- Keeping patients and families updated with progress
- Presenting evidence at panel meetings
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- NMC registered
- Nursing qualification (preferably RGN, however other nursing disciplines (LD/MH) will be considered)
