Pyle are a leading group of structural engineers and project managers based in surrey who serve a great existing client base, but are looking to continue to expand and so are looking for a highly motivated and competent structural engineer to join our hand picked team of professionals and support staff.

Pyle Car Park Consultants are known in the market as industry leading providers of professional services relating to car park structures.

Having just secured two very exciting projects which are both long term we are looking to bring in a bright spark to join us.

Being based in the market town of Reigate serves us well as we have easy access to the rail network, the M25 and Gatwick Airport, all of which are used quite a bit by us!

Also based in our Reigate office are three other divisions as follows:

'Pyle Structural Design is a general structural and civil engineering practice which takes on a wide variety of instructions from a mixture of clients including national insurance companies, public sectors organisations, private individuals and commercial organisations.

'Pyle Consulting' is a leading expert in loss adjusting and insurance claim handling services (as well as project management) and takes on instructions from a variety of leading loss adjusters and insurers to diagnose, manage and resolve claims ranging in value from £5k up to C. £2M

Finally, 666 Scaffold Design is a division which specialises in the provision of scaffold system designs, and this side of the business is growing all the time.

The role would span all companies so that the applicant could gain a vast amount of experience dealing with different types of projects. The applicant must be compatible with the existing team (must be a nice person to be around)!

So we are very fussy when it comes to recruitment! The position itself is a Grad plus 1 or 2 years position, although if you are more experienced than this we would still be interested in speaking with you.

We:

Design car parks, Carry out surveys, Carry out testing schemes, Design structural repairs, Manage contracts, Design rejuvenation schemes and lots more!

We work with the largest clients in the industry including Supermarket PLCs and international surveying firms.

You will be required to design structural elements, carry out surveys, attend meetings, work as a team, report on defects and generally represent the company well.

Our existing team includes some of the leading experts on car park structures in the UK (and possible the world) today, and you would be working as an important part of this team in order for you to gain experience, to develop and of course to contribute to the company by serving our clients.

Working hours would be flexible, but normally between 8:30 and 17:00. You would be based in our office in Reigate but you would need to be able to travel around the UK as our sites are varied in location.

The work we take on and the clients we deal with are varied and so there are always ways to improove and expand your abilities and skill set.

You will get full support from Directors and the rest of the team, as it is very much a 'team' atmosphere, in which we all pull togther when needed to help each other out with the various projects we are involved in.
