Who we are
PwC Augment is a new business launched by PwC, and specialises in providing multi-disciplinary resources to our global financial services client base, including investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds and other financial services institutions.
Augment supports these clients on major implementation projects, such as compliance & regulatory change, remediation & redress programmes, operational & finance transformations, technology implementations, restructuring & divestment initiatives, and acquisitions & mergers.
About the role
Business Analysts work on a wide range of challenging and important projects, assisting clients with the implementation of key strategic plans.
As projects are typically carried out on client sites, candidates must be flexible and prepared to work from international locations for the duration of client engagements.

The type of projects worked on and your specific responsibilities will vary depending on your experience and skillset, but may include:
Finance & Accounting
- Financial analysis
- Financial reporting - detailed and summary analysis (by transition, time period or categorisation)
- Gathering/collation of financial information from both electronic and manual (documentary) sources
- Financial calculations - using various software tools and packages
- Inputting financial information onto spreadsheets/databases
- Reconciliations
Legal & Compliance
- Case and documentation review - analysing legal and other documents to identify key facts, anomalies, etc, for categorisation
- Reporting - detailed and summary analysis (by transition, time period or categorisation)
- Contract reviews - analysing if requirements are adequately defined and documented
- Regulatory remediation and quality compliance testing
- Complaint handling and Customer redress
- Document collation, evidencing paper trail of transactions
- Data input of key information into spreadsheets and or proprietary systems
Technology & Data
- System upgrades, integration or decommissioning - manual support to parallel running, testing, remodelling, etc
- Project Management
- Manual data sourcing - searching and extracting data from multiple sources to include electronic and manual (documentary) sources
- Reporting - detailed and summary analysis (by transition, time period or categorisation)
- Manual data cleansing - prior to input and processing, or existing data which has been corrupted
- Data input/processing - using various software tools and packages
- Data analysis

Requirements
Applicants should ideally have the following:
Qualifications
- Minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant subject (Business/Finance/Accountancy, Legal/Compliance or Technology-related degrees)
- Candidates with 2:2 degrees, but who have relevant experience and/or qualifications, will be considered
- Any other relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous
Experience
- Candidates should ideally possess relevant work experience, preferably in a corporate environment
