Job description
You’ll rotate across two different practice groups, carry out research, draft legal documents and attend client meetings.
What you'll do
To get a training contract with us, you’ll need to complete our Legal Summer Vacation Scheme. The two-week schemes for students run in June and July and will help you decide whether a career with us is right for you.
Do well and you’ll be offered a training contract with us – the start date will be flexible where possible.

Programme
Our Summer Internships offer high calibre students the opportunity to experience work and life at PwC, and gain a valuable insight into our business and culture. You’ll work alongside graduate trainees and experienced professionals on live and interesting client projects. You will be doing real work on real clients so be prepared to get stuck in.
What you’ll need
- We generally recruit two years in advance for trainee solicitors however we’re flexible and allow applications from penultimate year (and onwards) law students and final year (and onwards) non-law students.
- You’ll need to have, or be on course for a 2.1 degree or above. We determine whether you're on course for a 2.1 based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study
- A keen interest in business law.

If you are successful in completing our Summer Vacation Scheme you may be offered a legal training contract with PwC. Please review the below regarding work permit sponsorship for our two-year training contract.
To be eligible to switch from being a Tier 4 general student to being a Tier 2 general migrant within the UK, you currently must have been sponsored by a licensed tier 4 sponsor to get one of the following qualifications: a UK bachelor’s degree; a UK master’s degree; a postgraduate certificate in education or a professional graduate diploma of education. If your current course does not fall under any of these qualifications,you may be able to rely on a previous degree that does, but you will need to evidence that you have had continuous leave in the UK since then. Any break in your UK leave in between courses may mean you do not meet this requirement. This would need to be assessed on a case by case basis. Please ensure you send us copies of your current and previous UK visa(s) (including BRPs).
