Job Description:
PureRES a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with offices in East Croydon.
We are an expanding niche Chartered Surveying company who are looking to expand our Architectural Measured Surveys department.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the rest of the experienced team and their Line Manager. They will have the autonomy to be given a high level of responsibility. Projects include Measured Survey Reports, Architectural Drawings, Elevations/Cross Sections, 3D Laser Scanning, Land Registry Compliant Lease Plans, Topographical, Boundary and Rights of Light Surveys, BIM 3D Scanning.
The ideal person may have a building/construction related qualification, such as a University degree in Architectural Technology, BTEC in Construction or Land Surveying. We are primarily looking for self-starters keen to pursue their professional careers. A positive and proactive "can do" attitude, strong communication skills, great organisational and problem solving skills are a must.
Responsibilities
Set up model/drawing for the team to work on
Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols.
Implement best practice procedure.
Produce accurate 3d models, 2d drawings and schedules in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other discipline.
Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a team.
To contribute or assist as required.
Helping to technically deliver CAD/BIM Projects in the role of CAD/BIM Coordinator.
Legally able to live and work in the UK.
Qualities and skills required:
Must have worked on large scale projects
candidate must be able to transfer this information into AutoCAD, with all the correct layers etc, and develop in sketch up and render as appropriate.
Be available within 2-4 weeks maximum.
Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities or more.
In-depth knowledge of Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD.
Must be highly technical, experience of working in a project structuring and coordination role for CAD application.
Excellent organisation skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Full understanding of data protection and able to handle confidential information.
Resilient to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties and work effectively.
Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactive approach to daily tasks.
Self-motivated and able to take responsibilities.
