Job description

Publicis Media OS serves as the core platform that enables Publicis Media agency teams to perform all of the tasks involved with designing complex media plans, activating those plans across multiple channels and markets, and then measuring and analyzing the performance of all business activities. The Product Management team works closely with the engineering team to define the requirements for the product features that our engineers will develop. The Product Management team understands the intended use cases for all developed functionalities, and assists in initial QA of these functionalities as they’re developed. Product Managers guide the overall functional evolution of Publicis Media OS from version to version by setting product strategy, identifying solutions to key users and client pain points, and proactively adding functionalities based on their expertise, industry/competitor trends, etc.

The Product Manager is responsible for managing the use cases, business requirements, functional requirements, product development backlog, and product documentation associated with the development of applications focused on automated insights, analytics, and outcomes. He or she is responsible for working with platform users, clients, and stakeholders to understand high-level business and functionality needs and then translating those needs into a detailed and prioritized backlog for engineering and data science development. The role is responsible for communicating product vision, status, and overall prioritization of work to key stakeholders. The product manager collaborates closely with members of the Engineering & Data Science team and assists with user testing and quality assurance for all new product developments. The product manager is also responsible for documenting all product features and developing product description related content in collaboration with Product Marketing.

Responsibilities:

·  Engage with clients and users to understand business processes, key challenges, and day-to-day workflows
·  Define product vision and strategy for insight & outcome focused products in collaboration with product leadership and data science teams
·  Develop use cases, business requirements, and functional requirements in order to provide the Engineering & Data Science team with a sufficient level of detail to support their development work
·  Manage the product backlog and prioritization by estimating the impact of feature development and coordinating dependencies across other product development teams
·  Work with the Engineering & Data Science teams to provide user testing and quality assurance on newly developed functionality
·  Develop documentation for product functionality and features in collaboration with Product Support team
·  Develop marketing and communication materials for product releases in collaboration with the Product Marketing team
·  Maintain knowledge of best practices and trends in product management, data science, machine learning, and big data industries

Minimum Requirements:


·  B.S., preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Sciences, Analytics, Mathematics, or related field
·  2+ years’ experience managing or contributing to a product backlog
·  Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements in support of product development
·  Experience working with Engineering, Data Science, or User Interface/User Experience teams in support of product development
·  Experience in an Agile development environment preferred
·  1+ years in digital media or account planning preferred
