Position Overview
The financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team’s responsibility is to provide day to day financial support for agency management and department heads. Scope of activity includes but is not limited to preparation and analysis of quarterly forecast for the units reporting into the North America CFO, the annual budgeting process and scenario planning for personnel costs, G&A costs, and agency resources.

The FP&A analyst takes direction from the FP&A manager or above to aid in preparation & entry of financial forecasts, develop reports & presentation materials, perform analysis across multiple P&L lines, help manage department budgets, and other ad hoc requests. This position interacts with and builds relationships with agency management and department heads.

Roles & Responsibilities
Monthly forecasts & annual budget submissions 50%
- Maintain internal documentation
- Assist subsidiary finance leads with P&L, headcount forecasting
- Gather & coordinate required inputs from key stakeholders
- Help prepare analyses, presentations for agency management
- Aid in entry of forecasts into financial system

G&A management 35%
- Review actuals with agency budget holders, and address related questions & concerns
- Maintain summary on YTD spend, highlighting risks & opportunities to current forecast
- Coordinate with reporting team on distributed budget report

Monthly actuals reporting 5-10%
- Aid in preparation of month-end summaries for agency & regional financial management
- Understand & summarize key drivers of change from prior year & forecast

Ad hoc requests 5-10%
- Reporting requests from agency partners

Qualifications
Bachelor’s in accounting and/or finance
Recent graduate to 2 years relevant work experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel is a plus
Organized, with analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
