JOB DETAILS
PSYT is looking for their first UI / UX Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping our products. We are looking for a skilled product / interaction designer who will contribute to PSYTs success. The ideal candidate will help lead the company’s product vision and has experience in creating intuitive, functional digital products that can communicate our complex but fascinating data - and make them useful!

This is a 3-month full time paid internship, potentially leading to a key design role within the company as we grow.

Job Role & Responsibilities will include:
User Champion: Conduct studies to understand user behaviour, uncover user needs and evaluate designs using journeys, wireframing, research and analytics.
Storyteller: translate broad ideas into polished user experience and user interface designs
Designer: design beautiful user interfaces for iOS and Android and develop a visual languages that includes: interaction touch-points; ready-to-deploy designs; refined typograph; iconography; layout and brand identity
360 degrees: Own research workload from scoping, design, moderating, synthesising insights to presenting results

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We’re looking for a candidate who is constantly seeking to develop and learn. You will understand the importance of excellent design and be able to grab hold of a project and manage its delivery e.g from the first wireframes to deploying a bug-free site to live.

The non-negotiables:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design (or similar)
A good understanding of UX, wireframing and prototyping
Experience in creating visually striking and functional User Interface Designs
Good experience with Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD, After Effects)
Be able to provide a full 360 degree, end-to-end project creation
Flexible, adaptive and eager to use your creative skills on different type of tasks.
Excited by PSYT’s mission, and genuinely care about improving wellbeing
Based in London, and have the right to work in the UK

Highly desirable:
MSc in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction or other related field
Some HTML, CSS and JS as we do some prototyping in code
Knowledge of using Sketch
