We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst Programmer to join the PruIT Business Information Systems (Actuarial Systems) support and development team. This team builds and maintains strategic Data and Business Intelligence IT systems for Prudential, promoting structured development methodologies.

You’ll  work closely with Designers, Senior Analyst Programmers and Business Stakeholders, responsible for the development and unit testing of data driven IT solutions, utilising best in class technologies and related tools, managing impacts and risks, adhering to policies and standards where appropriate.

To be successful in this role your skills/experience will include:

  • Understanding of a programming language, ideally SQL Server T-SQL database programming and data analysis.

  • Working knowledge of  -  SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS

  • Experience of an Enterprise Portfolio Management tool e.g. Planview, Clarity (desirable not essential)

  • Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Good team player, eager to learn  with a can-do attitude

  • Stakeholder management

  • Presenting technical information in a business-friendly way

  • Graduate calibre and/or relevant experience

  • A similar role within a Financial Services organisation (desirable not essential) You will also be able to evidence the following:
