Salary up to a max of £24,000 (Depending on Experience)

An exciting opportunity for an International Coordinator is now available at PRS for Music. The purpose of the Coordinator role is to assist with maximising of income from new business opportunities outside the UK and in the PRS Agency territories, whilst ensuring members’ rights remain appropriately represented and valued. The role will also provide project management and administrative support for direct licensing activities, agency territory operations and licensing services function

The International Licensing Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of licensing deals including arranging invoicing, monitoring royalty flows and co-ordinating annual adjustments. The role will also include negotiation with licensees and invoicing and collecting payments in territories without a local agent.

This role will involve conducting investigations, analysis, and research to assist and inform on key Licensing and Agency projects. It will also involve project coordination: scheduling of activities and providing support to the start up and management of licensing projects. The role holder will be responsible for establishing deliverables and timelines for projects and ensuring these timelines are managed effectively. Providing support and assistance on ad-hoc team workload and related matters such as the production of presentations and reports as well as assisting in the acquisition and administration of mandates from affiliated societies is essential in this position.

The role holder will be responsible for managing the monthly and quarterly invoicing for all licences managed within the team. This will include taking responsibility for the invoicing and chasing of collection of payments for all accounts in Agency territories without a local agent. The role holder will also manage the quarterly Agency returns ensuring Agent reported revenue and costs reconcile and resolve any discrepancies.

The successful candidate will provide support to the monthly and quarterly licensing activity and revenue reports, including population of data and production of reports. The role holder will also ensure the team’s revenue appears correct in weekly and monthly departmental revenue reports and liaise with the finance Business Partner and Finance teams as needed.

This position will involve keeping a schedule of licence renewal, co coordinating, developing and organising the team’s toolkits and resources as well as documenting and mapping team processes. The role holder will be expected to take on ad hoc duties and work as directed by the Direct Licensing and Agencies Managers.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be confident speaking to a wide range of people with the ability to simplify complex information. Experience of managing multiple activities and tasks and experience of analysing, interpreting and presenting data are essential to this role. The successful candidate will have experience in project support and coordination and understand the principles of Project Management (PRINCE 2 Foundation certificate is desirable). Experience in accounts administration with a good understanding of basic accounting principles is also important.
