Job description

This is a unique office-based role within our Service / Missing & Damaged department where you will support our M&D Coordinator with the day-to-day running of the department. Chasing outstanding repairs and equipment so that they can be circulated back into hire.

What does your day look like?

To take responsibility for the administration of cross-hires, including managing items coming in and returns of the day.

Liaising daily with the bookings department regarding all cross-hire matters.

Manage paperwork efficiently and take responsibility for all incoming emails from suppliers.

To take full responsibility of purchase orders by obtaining quotes by management, creating a PO number & getting approval before sending it to the supplier.

To check the equipment, log for new ‘out of service’/damaged items against what is on the service shelves and making note of items that aren't on the shelves.

To update notes on the system with the progress of repairs based on emails (such as when a quote is received and ETA of repairs etc.)

To assess the outstanding missing and damaged cases in the folders with the M&D Coordinator and keep up to date on the status of missing and damaged kit by contacting clients.

This role is 85% administration 15% finding equipment.

Essentials for the role

1-year experience working as an administrator or in a role that requires written & verbal professional communication.
Exception attention to detail
To be able to work independently & efficiently
To take ownership of the role & ask questions if unsure – this is encouraged.
Intermediate knowledge of excel and outlook
Excellent written English / communication skills

This role would suit someone who wants to work in an office / operational setting.

Please note that this is a full-time, permanent Office based role in our Acton office - there is no on-set or location work.
