The Intern within Group Treasury supports all Front and Middle Office tasks in day to day operation and acts as a first level of support to group subsidiaries worldwide on Treasury Governance in Financing, Foreign Exchange Risk, Liquidity Planning and Cash Management. As a fully integrated member within the team, he/she performs analysis over our daily positioning and investment potential, risk control over FX exposure and actively supports Treasury projects including the creation of an In-House bank. The role requires strong analysis skills and a deep capacity to evolve in a multicultural environment and enthusiasm to learn and quickly adapt.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform Market Conformity Check over traded Foreign Exchange or Money Market transactions
Support Implementation of Corporate Governance over Treasury matters;
Day to Day Support of local entities in capturing liquidity planning data or FX exposure (including the possibility to travel and perform training)
Prepares data for CFO reporting
Monitoring of bank fee controlling in the Group
Project management organisation over Treasury projects
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Banking and International Finance
Computer Literacy in MS Office standard (advanced Excel knowledge welcome)
Foreign Language (German or Japanese is a plus)
Project management skills (capacity to manage, organise, reach milestones and present deliverables)
Experience of work/study in a multicultural environment
Bachelor/Master of Arts in a Finance related area (currently studying) – a minimum of 2.1 required on obtained degrees
Foreign Currency Derivatives and/or Cash Management
Previous internship in a Public, Finance or Corporate institution
This internship is 6 months, with potential to be extended to 12 months, starting September 2017.
