Job description

Prime Care Support Ltd is a domiciliary care provider with offices in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. We have successfully been delivering care in the community for over 20 years and have recently been awarded new contracts which have secured business for a further 7.5 years.

We find ourselves in a situation that recruiting locally is proving difficult and we are having to drastically change our recruitment model. With this in mind we are offering successful candidates a relocation package to the Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire area in the South of England, with close links into London for those of you wanting a chance to visit the capital and its many attractions.

The package includes:

• 8-12 weeks accommodation in the Prime Care House at a reasonable rate. The first week is free.
• 8-12 weeks rental of a Prime Care car at a rate of £5 per day.
• Full paid training with Care Certificate qualification following a 12 week Induction programme.
• Shifts from 7-2pm 3-6pm 6-10pm with payment per visit from £7.25 per hour with a mileage contribution of 20p per mile.
• Opportunities to work in neighboring counties on a rota basis with full payment per shift and paid travel time.
• A commitment bonus of £350 pounds following 6 months continuous employment (conditions apply).
• Career progression opportunities with enrollment into QCR Level 2 in Health and Social Care following 6 months employment.
• Initial interviews could be carried out via Skype.

During the induction period you will be offered between 37.5 to 48 hrs per week with the intention of being able to maximise your earning potential to enable you to set yourself up in a rented room and be in a position to purchase a low cost second hand vehicle. Should you wish to work more hours you will be required to opt out of the EU working time directive. The company can assist with Insurance costs as we have fleet insurance policy, payments can then be made back to the company via Direct Debit.

The average cost of a room in the Bedfordshire area is currently between £250 and £600 per month inclusive of bills. You will have the option of using the office facilities when looking for accommodation and transport.
