Role: Transport & Customer Service Supervisor

Purpose of role: To co-ordinate store deliveries by planning routes, managing hauliers,  and ensuring all required preparation for departing hauliers is  completed, solving all the aspects related to keep and increase the level of service from the team. Carry out administration duties and reporting tasks.

Reports to: Transport & Customer Service Manager

Location: Torija Distribution Centre (Guadalajara), Spain

Key Responsibilities:
·  Manage Transport administrative & Planning duties for the site
·  Provide day to day operational management and co-ordination of all the stores deliveries
·  Working in collaboration with the Warehouse Operation to deliver service to stores
·  Manage scheduling and planning of the transport operation
·  Analyse weekly transport  and customer service cost to ensure most cost effective solution
·  Management and review of daily, weekly and periodic store service reports
·  Ensure retail communications and relationship is managed accorded of service commitments
·  Prebriefing and debriefing drivers arriving at Site
·  Challenging on any operational issues to ensure routes depart on time
·  Delivery of Transport Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
·  Ensuring compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
·  Make sure that suppliers' invoices arrive on time and in the correct form
·  Taking proactive measures to ensure EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards are upheld and proposing initiatives for continuous improvement
·  Facilitate effective communication with hauliers
·  Waste collection managing
·  Supporting the Customer Service & Transport Manager with daily duties when required
·  Support Network developments ensuring operational complexities are taken into account
·  Ensuring all reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner
·  Escalating any transport and custome service related issues
·  Check and track quality service from operational team.
·  Manage the team with leadership
·  Respect and manage HHRR duties Essential knowledge, skills and experience:
·  Educated to High School Level
·  Minimum 3+ years in Transport/Logistics industry
·  Experience in a supervisor position
·  Fluency in English. Other languages will be valuable
·  Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels
·  Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
·  Strong analytical skills with the ability to highlight and challenge relevant issues
·  Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
·  Workload planning
·  Problem Solving skills
