What You’ll Do:
The Primark Customer Function is the ultimate voice of the customer. Cheerleaders. Guardians of customer experience. As Primark Cares Strategy Lead you will work seamlessly with teams across the business, supporting in-market teams, playing a critical role in delivering our purpose, proposition, strategy, and values:
We are looking for an experienced strategy specialist to join the Primark Cares team which is a key division within the wider Primark Customer Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with Primark’s teams to address key strategic questions relating to sustainability specifically around the Primark Cares launched Strategy and supporting the wider Customer team in their strategic ambitions.

·  Act as an internal strategic advisor, responding to key strategic questions and challenges set by the Primark’s Leadership Team to Primark Cares and the wider Customer Team within sustainability.
·  Provide the critical thinking and analysis to breakdown opportunities and challenges to the programme in a quantified manner and take responsibility for identifying viable solutions with associated workplans.
·  Work closely with the Primark Cares team and key stakeholders to support them in embedding strategic thinking and planning into their respective workstreams. Including development of roadmaps and business cases, and answering strategic exam questions
·  Support Primark Cares team in making decisions in tune with the commercial and operational nature of the business
·  Identify and lead projects that unlock specific commercial and operational challenges faced by the programme. This will involve setting up cross-functional teams, planning the analysis and managing the communication of outcomes to senior stakeholders What You’ll Bring

·  Substantial and proven experience of business strategy development within a large organisation and / or consultancy environment. Experience working within sustainability and ethics is a significant advantage.
·  Strong experience with the Retail sector and prior experience of advising senior management, to include a minimum 3 years’ experience working with or for retail companies (ideally within fashion / clothing)
·  Advanced knowledge and experience of quantitative modelling and presentation development is essential. Specifically on Excel and Powerpoint packages.
·  A real team player, with strong leadership skills and the ability to provide clarity and direction to previously unexplored situations and topics.
·  The ability to navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments and the strong interpersonal skills that are required to work cross-functionally and generate ‘buy-in’ from internal and external stakeholder groups.
·  Substantial experience of conducting detailed data and financial analysis, with a good knowledge of relevant analytics tools and methodologies.
