Primark.com launched in 2013 and has since established itself as the go-to site for fast fashion editorial, with up to 3 million visits a week. The site delivers acclaimed editorial content to 11 different countries, in seven different languages.

Purpose of role:   We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented fashion writer to join our online editorial team. This exciting position offers the chance to develop our daily fashion and lifestyle coverage. Key responsibilities include writing engaging, on-brand, editorial content and informative copy, working to tight deadlines and being an outstanding team player.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Produce high quality copy across a number of departments and provide our customers with a regular stream of trend-led, inspirational features pushing our fashion credentials.
·  Develop the look and feel of all content, targeting the correct audience for the brand and drawing in new consumers.
·  Ensure consistent on brand tone of voice throughout all communications.
·  Maintain the content calendar for the online team, updating at least once a week.
·  Have a global/local approach to all content and create localised content, when necessary, for other territories
·  Work closely with the in-house buying teams to build on internal communications, get to know the collections, and push products online for sale in-store.
·  Pitch in-house shoot ideas to elevate our products and follow it through from conception, to brief writing, to signing off final imagery.
·  Work closely with the wider digital and social media team to ensure ‘one voice’ across all seasonal campaigns and daily reportage.
·  Take responsibility for sending copy for translation across all relevant languages.
·  Support the fuller digital team in relation to the overall site content management and supporting processes.
·  Help plan and pitch engaging and relevant copy with the team.
·  Work as part of a cross functional team to deliver on site elements of larger scale integrated campaigns with Social Media, PR Team and Creative Team.
·  Work to strict daily deadlines.  
We’re looking for an fashion writer with 3 - 5 years experience, with real of passion and talent, who is looking to take that next step in their career . This role would suit someone a keen eye for grammar, a passion for words and a love for fashion. Knowledge, skills experience:

·  Degree educated. Preferred degrees include English Lit, Journalism, or Fashion journalism
·  Proven experience working in fashion or lifestyle company, ideally online
·  Strong communication skills and the ability to build and nurture relationships both within the business and externally
·  Strong time management and problem-solving skills
·  An ability to work efficiently and accurately: proof read, fact check, and edit your own copy as well as that of external contributors
·  Enjoy working in a fast-paced commercially-focused environment
·  Experience in an on-line environment
·  Previous experience using CMS
·  Excellent written English
·  Industry experience
·  A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail
·  Sound knowledge of fashion, fabrics and brands
·  Ability to work in a team
·  Strong knowledge of social media channels
·  Photoshop skills
·  Pro-active work attitude willing to get involved in a wide range of projects
·  Awareness of online metrics and analytics
