RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL BUILDING SURVEYOR NEEDED!

RARE OPPORTUNITY WITH LEADING INDEPENDENT FIRM

EXCELLENT PACKAGE UP TO £40,000 D.O.E. FOR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

We are currently recruiting for leading Surveyors and Estate Agency Firm based in this vibrant city.

My client is one of the market leaders in its field who due to a programme of continued improvement are looking for a BUILDING SURVEYOR.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Preparation of private valuation reports for probate, tax, matrimonial, charity, retrospective reasons, etc.
Preparation of valuation reports for secured lending purposes to include commercial, residential, mixed use investments, developments, etc.
Fire insurance and building cost assessments.
Residential Landlord and Tenant matters i.e. Lease Extensions and Collective Enfranchisement.
Commercial Landlord & Tenant matters i.e. rent reviews, lease expiry, etc.
Preparation of Schedules of Condition/Dilapidations.
Preparation of reports on condition/details of defects and upon general maintenance advice
Land valuation/development appraisals and reports
Compulsory purchase and compensation matters

Person Specification:

Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors essential ( apart from graduate)
Good communication skills and use of English/mathematics.
Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Competence to deal with the general public, to liaise with clients/other departments in the company and generate business.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
Good analytical approach and attention to detail.
Clean driving licence/own vehicle.

An experienced Graduate with a BSc Degree in Building surveying may be considered on a separate package.
