Trainee Accountant - No Experience Necessary

Preston Holbrook are recruiting for the position of Trainee Accountant in the Birmingham City Centre, experience is not essential.

Due to growth our client for whom is a highly successful firm of Chartered Accountants have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Trainee Accountant to join their highly professional, dynamic and welcoming team.

Our client is currently seeking candidates who have excellent Maths and English skills and who have the desire to learn and achieve.

The role will include

• Processing accounting records
• Preparing account reconciliation
• Dealing with suppliers and customers
• Assisting Finance Manager with management accounts
• Calculate VAT liabilities
• Assist clients with VAT returns

The person appointed will:

• Be capable of managing creditor and debtor relationships in a positive and engaging manner.
• Have a passion for career development and a drive to learn and develop your skills.
• Be able to meet deadlines, with accuracy.
• Confident in verbal and written communication.
