Job description
Premier Chocolate is a growing chocolate manufacturer who is actively looking to recruit a project based BRC Quality & Technical Administrator due to rapid expansion. The ideal candidate will work on assisting the current quality manager to upgrade the current BRC standards from V6 to V7.
Role Responsibilities:
- To review and assist Technical manager on certification for version 7 of BRC.
- To work independently with the Technical Manager.
- To review and update the Quality Standards
- To carry out QA and QC checks and audit tasks in all areas of the production chain including temperature, specification, weight, traceability, calibration, cleaning and tasting checks.
- To ensure that all Food Safety control points identified via the HACCP system are fully monitored and controlled.
- To ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures relating to Food Safety and Quality.
- Hygiene, HACCP awareness, general induction, GMP and Health & Safety.
- To maintain all certification schemes such as BRC.
Must have:
- Food manufacturing background
- BRC Global Standard for Food Safety experience
- Technical Administrator experience
- Quality experience
- Strong communication skills
- Own transport
The ideal candidate will have an option of working both on site and from home. The placement is with an option to start immediately for the right candidate.
