One of the most vibrant motoring Clubs in the UK, the company is involved in a whole series of high-profile automotive events. With over 13,500 members and an annual turnover in excess of £1 million, an enthusiastic team of staff oversee the day-to-day operations of the organisation from its Clubhouse in Moreton in Marsh Gloucestershire.

The role:
This highly desirable position has become available at Porsche Club GB - one of the UK’s most respected and prestigious car clubs. The Club’s monthly magazine, Porsche Post, has a global audience and is a publication held in high esteem by the manufacturer, Porsche Cars GB.

The editor will be responsible for the content, style and all editorial sections of Porsche Post and the Club’s additional publications with ongoing liaison with contributors and contractors. High levels of literacy and proof-reading skills are essential. An understanding of the Adobe fleet of software, particularly InDesign, is an advantage, although not essential as the relevant training will be given.

The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with the Club’s General Manager and digital team to oversee a full content strategy.

A flexible approach, a commitment to providing a quality service and the ability to work as a member of a team are essential. The post holder will be encouraged to develop a working knowledge of the overall responsibilities required to support the Club’s activities

A knowledge of automotive - preferably Porsche - is desirable.

Due to the nature of the role, some weekend work will be required to support the Club’s key events and participation in major shows.
