Job description
Our client is looking for a Insurance Software Sales Executive to join their busy team.
The position represents a balanced customer relationship management effort involving sales/account management skills, product knowledge, problem-solving/solution skills, superb negotiation skills and direction of other specialized resources assigned to the account. The successful candidate will meet with key executives at potential customer organizations, sell proposals internally and externally, driving deals to closure.
The Insurance Software Sales Executive will need;
Track record of sales success in the insurance (or related) field.
Educated on technology including hosting and cloud technology
Comfortable discussing a wide array of software products and technologies, and at ease interacting with highly trained technology professionals.
Ability to travel 50% as needed to prospect sites may be required
Experience in selling to Insurance and Financial Services and High Tech Professional Services (e.g. consulting).
Strong new business development, client relationship management, and sales forecasting experience.
BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 7 years of Sales and Business Development experience with minimum of 5 years of direct enterprise software
sales experience.
Superior knowledge of the entire sales cycle including tracking/updating accounts, forecasting sales activity.
Existing insurance industry relationships a plus.
Proven record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
Experience selling to the "C" level executives as well as business level users.
Track record of sales excellence with strong deal closing skills and demonstrated record of meeting large sales quota objectives.
