You’ll need to be passionate about Web Development and have already built/edited websites and have existing skills in HTML, CSS and Javascript.

About the team

Recently recognised as Plusnet’s team of the year, the web development team is a small but skills rich team which is responsible for the look & feel of the Plusnet websites and creating the user-experience of customer journeys for both new and existing customers. Between them they have a mixture of skill sets including Graphic and Web Design, Content Writing and Web Development. Typical projects that the team get involved with are new product launches, marketing campaigns & special offers, customer journey improvements, branding & UX/UI and pricing and regulatory updates.

As a Junior Web Developer at Plusnet you will assist with the following:

• User experience design and Front-End build
• Contributing towards the creative design process and guiding others on UX best practice
• Creation of HTML/CSS/Javascript code for integration into website applications
• Conducting Cross-Browser and Usability testing to create accessible and compliant web pages
• Code reviews of colleagues work to maintain high quality output
• Attending project and team meetings with business stakeholders
• Provide mentoring and coaching to junior designers/developers
• Helping with the creation of User Stories in requirements capturing
