Requirements
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Proven experience of working in a marketing role managing communication and B2B marketing activities.
• A good understanding of PR, B2B and online marketing techniques ensuring activities are in line with best practice.
• Strong project management skills and experience of organising events.
• Experience of managing budgets and excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• SQL and HTML skills would be an advantage.
• Highly organised and able to manage your own time – a proficient multi-tasker.
• Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail.
The Role
As the B2B Marketing Manager supporting Rakuten’s UK Marketplace website, you will support the head of B2B Marketing in the delivery of B2B business activities with specific responsibility for the UK region.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Taking charge of local communication (internal and external); content management of websites and magazines, communication to merchants and partners.
• Phrasing and preparing of sales documents.
• Strong interaction with media and agencies.
• Event planning in the local area.
• Distributing PR articles via all channels, including PR portals and agency, media and social media.
• B2B marketing responsibilities, including setting up cooperation with business partners, speaker opportunities and media booking.
• Budget control for all local B2B marketing tasks.
