PLAX Jewellery is a new luxury jewellery brand specialising in Luxury Pearl Jewellery. Our brand creates ‘Made to Order and Customisable Luxury Pearl Jewellery’ enabling clients to express their individuality. Our mission is to create a ‘love affair’ with pearls, and unravel the beauty and splendour of pearls through our luxury jewellery collection.

THE ROLE: MARKETING INTERN
We are seeking a Marketing and Sales Intern to support PR, Events and Social Media. This position is ideal for someone interested in working with a luxury brand to gain valuable work experience. The role will include some travel with the team within the UK to exhibit at prestigious events.

Responsibilities include:
-Contacting journalists and stylists (verbal by phone and written)
-Assisting with sales at events and liaising with customers
-Assisting with preparation for events
- Seeking PR opportunities for product placements
-Sourcing content for social media platforms
-Posting on Social Media platforms and engaging with followers and influencers
-Generating content for blog

Desired profile

Requirements
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-Ability to interact with customers face-to-face and at events
-Knowledge of Social Media interaction and engagement
-Excellent researching skills
-Image editing skills a bonus though not essential
-Retail Sales Experience advantageous though not essential
The position is based in London and involves occasional travel outside of London for events for a period of 1-4 days depending on length of event. Other aspects of the roles can be conducted remotely.
The internship is on a part-time basis working 1-2 days a week for 3 months, with potential opportunity of part-time employment thereafter.
