QUALITY ENGINEER

Job description

For the PLASTIC OMNIUM AUTO INERGY BELGIUM production site in Herentals we are looking for a QUALITY ENGINEER.

 

Identification

Service: QUALITY DEPARTMENT

Function definition:

QUALITY ENGINEER

Reporting: QUALITY MANAGER

Creating date: 27/07/2015          

Main Mission:

·  Responsible for ensuring that the products meet the established standards of quality to assure complete customer satisfaction.

 

 

KEY activities

Activity 1:

·  Draft all procedures, work instructions, PPAP and APQP
·  Implement all these quality standards and make sure that they are respected by everyone
·  Keep all quality standards up to date

Activity 2:

·  Document all reviews by customers, deploy them in the organization, and communicate with them with the quality manager

Activity 3:

·  Periodical analysis of both internal and external quality issues and initiating appropriate countermeasures to avoid recurrence

Activity 4:

·  Represent the customer within the organization regarding all quality issues

Activity 5:

·  Supplier quality activities: initiate SNCR towards suppliers in case of quality issues and complete follow up of these SNCR

Competences and education background

Standard Competence (nature and level):

·  Attention to detail
·  Good communication skills (written and oral; dutch-english-german-french)
·  Problem analysis and problem solving
·  Judgement and decision making
·  Languages: Dutch, Englisch, French, German

Education background (Level and major):

·  Master in engineering or equal by experience

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES:

·  A first professional experience by preference

Additional training (PLASTIC OMNIUM TRAINING):

·  Internal training on all specific quality programs

Adaptation time for the function:

·  6 months
