MISSION
· The Maintenance / Process Technician is responsible for maintaining the quality of the product run by providing a safe and timely preventive maintenance and upkeep on production and facilities equipment
· Serves as troubleshooter to keep machines in running order
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Set up of equipment
· Ensure compliance to machinery safeguards and procedures
· Follow all safety rules
· Assist with installation of all equipment of the site
· Assist with implementation of best practice systems for site
ACTIVITIES
· Troubleshoot and repair plant electrical/hydraulics/pneumatics and electronic (PLC) issues
· Safe use of all tools, welders, electrical wiring
· Perform PM Levels 1, 2, & 3 and maintain maintenance log books
· Plant facilities upkeep – (HVAC, Compressors, Chillers, Electrical, Water Treatment)
· Tool Change Activities & Documentation
· SMED and TPM Activities
· Perform Work Orders as assigned
· LOTO (Lock/out; Tag/out) expertise
· Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities

PROFILE REQUIRED
Personal Background
· Requires a High School Diploma
· 2 year Technical degree preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proven ability in team environment.
· Ability to collect, maintain and analyze data.
· Ability to work in a fast paced, result oriented environment within tight time constraints.
· Ability and availability to work unusual hours
· Must successfully complete all required training
· Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures.
· Must comply with all safety rules and regulations
Skills and Abilities
· Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electronic PLC experience
· Analyzing and Problem Solving Skills
· Communication / Influencing Skills
· Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
· Project and results oriented
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis
· Position requires walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching and climbing; Requires working under high temperature at certain times
