Your missions as MRO Manager Germany/Belgium are to
· Coordinate all MRO purchasing activities in Gemany and Belgium.
· Lead and support all related direct and functional MRO teams
· Ensure MRO savings meets budget in accordance with policies and procedures, PO code of conduct and non-competition code
· Drive the MRO cost reduction programs and develop supplier short list performance
· Increase productivity on MRO recurrent purchases, supply base management, debt management, right first time invoicing and sourcing in compliance with target
Your a ctivities
· Management of the MRO purchasing teams (Lead Buyer in Germany & Back office team in Poland; functionally MRO buyers in the German plants)
· Support and drive the teams according to objectives; assess and develop skills and performance; manage recruitment and people management processes
· Ensure a good use of Plastic Omnium tools, procedures and best practices in his/her group
· Manage, control and optimize budget with monthly reports on MRO performance and KPI
· Support plants activities and industrial projects by active involvement in innovations, make or buy, best practices, new services
· Lead synergies between plants and business functions
· Negotiate supplier master agreements for the plants and ensure their implementation
· Enforce central and lead buying strategies
· Benchmark the MRO business unit Purchasing activities
· Improve supplier management in conformity with the quality system (awards, competitiveness in term of cost, quality and deliveries, non-conformities)
Your competencies
Your background
· 3 to 5 years professional experience in MRO/ indirect purchasing in international industrial companies
· Experience in management of matrix organizations and remote management
· Engineering Degree or business school ideally with specialty in purchasing management.
Your skills
· Excellent technical negotiations skills
· Proven knowledge in company & commercial law, Finance & cash management, Logistics (consignment, VMI incoterms)
· Fluent in English
· Very good communication ability
· High level of analytical and structured work method
· Customer oriented
