Planting Promise Intern

Job description

Come and join our team at Planting Promise. We are looking for an intern to help us deliver our new fundraising strategy at our exciting Social Enterprise.

Planting Promise was founded in 2008 to address poverty and education in Sierra Leone, West Africa. We run businesses in farming and food processing, and use the profits to fund free schools.

We are focusing on our 10 year plan for the organisation which sees us developing our educational facilities to deliver sustainable education long into the future in one of the world's poorest countries.

Our intern will:
1. Fundraise from grants and foundations
2. Plan fundraising events
3. Compile monitoring and evaluation reports for existing and ongoing projects
4. Travel to Sierra Leone regularly to assess the impact of fundraising and support

Desired profile

Must be able to use a computer!
Must be able to smile
