PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To contribute to the Learning & Development strategy of delivering world class training and development solutions to drive people capability. To support the Training Team and develop the skills of an Instructional Designer. In addition, this role will partner on training end users on new technology and also identify areas for improvement with existing technology, along with providing a support service to the field and 3rd parties with queries and issues.

JOB SIZE:

Responsible for creating & maintaining the integrity of online training systems, supporting 350+ franchise Delivery & Express units.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Learning Support and Coordination (40%)

  • Support in the design & implementation of course materials and training curriculum for all roles/levels
  • Testing of content prior to release and in the Learning Zone, to ensure correct functionality
  • Creation and maintenance of user guides, manuals and appropriate supporting systems documentation
  • Production of training packs, managing an effective filing system and producing delegate lists
  • Produce and distribute reports as required

Systems Administration (40%)

  • Support customer enquiries, researching and resolving issues within the Learning Zone/Training Report (our bespoke Learning Management System)
  • To become an expert support to IT team for training queries
  • Supporting Learning Zone set up and administration, including the on-going monitoring, support and system upgrades
  • Updating course information on the Learning Zone with details of workshops
  • Allocation of courses via Learning Zone, Validation of training and readiness for workshops
  • Coordinate User Provisioning queries, system maintenance and transfer of data

Other (20%)

  • Partner with Training Coordinator to process requests to join and sign off development programmes
  • Assist with the administration of development programmes

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:

Education

  • Ideally qualified to HND or degree level

Experience

  • Confident in navigating Learning Management Systems and working with training reports
  • A passion for continued learning and development for all, a keen eye for design and detail and a genuine interest in technology
  • Familiarity with e-learning and an interest in learning and teaching techniques or theories
  • Works fluently in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience of using Adobe products an advantage
